Webinar Producer

Job Description

The Chapter offers in person webinars as a way to share educational topics and allow our community of green building practitioners an opportunity to connect and discuss these topics. We offer webinars at our office and at partner locations. The webinar proctor is responsible for welcoming attendees, reading a short script about the Chapter and current events, and logging in to the webinar database and playing the webinar. After the ~50min webinar is done the proctor can open up the last ten minutes for discussion. The Proctor will be responsible for the sign-in sheet and emailing it after to staff.

  • CE Hours: Webinar Proctors will be awarded 1 CE hour per hour of volunteer work for up to 50% of your total CE hours, in addition to the CE earned while watching webinars. 
  • Letters of Recommendation are available from the Chapter Director for outstanding service.

Time Commitment

  • Webinars are usually one hour long and the proctor will spend 15min extra with setup. Webinar Proctors will usually be in charge of one webinar per month. 

Qualifications

Required 

  • USGBC Chapter Member or planning on being a member
  • Ability to volunteer 1.5 hours a month for multiple months
  • Must have a LEED Green Associate or AP credential

Preferred 

  • Obtains a LEED AP credential
