LEED Jam Group Instructor

Job Description

The Chapter hosts LEED Study Jams which are an opportunity for those studying for the LEED Green Associate or AP exams, as well as, professionals in the field interested in learning about LEED from a seasoned professional, well versed with the system. We are looking for an AP credentialed professional with a few projects in their portfolio to be available for one evening on a monthly or bi-monthly basis. The session will be hosted at the Chapter's office. Study Jams are usually 2-3 hours long depending on number of questions and attendees.

  • LEED Study Group Instructors will be awarded 1 CE hour per hour of volunteer work for up to 50% of your total CE hours.
  • Letters of Recommendation are available from the Chapter Director for outstanding service.
  • Study Jam Instructors with a year of consistent service will be eligible for a complementary membership. 

Time Commitment

  • Study Jams are 2-3 hours long

Qualifications

Required 

  • LEED AP
  • Familiar with the family of LEED certifications
  • Actively working with LEED projects
  • Familiar with Chapter programming and offerings
  • Familiar with Chapter educational offerings

Preferred 

  • Familiar with WELL, Living Building Challenge, Energy Star, GRESB and other sustainability rating systems
  • How to Submit an Expression of Interest with USGBC Massachusetts
